18:05 <Mikaela> I am able to upgrade meetingology when needed, but I don't think I am suitable for running meetings.
18:06 <belkinsa> What do you fear, Mikaela?
18:06 <Mikaela> multiple things that might be better to discuss outside of logged meeting
18:06 <belkinsa> Or we shouldn't be talking about this.
18:07 <belkinsa> Alright, you are welcome to PM me or e-mail me at belkinsa@ubuntu.com
18:07 <belkinsa> Since we have that settled, lets move on.

18:33 <belkinsa> What = which
18:33 <amani_glugcal> we have G+, then if we make it sufficiently attractive ... maybe systers
18:34 <amani_glugcal> facebook?
18:34 <belkinsa> Sure, but I don't do Facebook, Twitter, or G+
18:34 <belkinsa> I think you and I should work on this action together
18:34 <amani_glugcal> I can handle G+
18:35 <belkinsa> Okay.
18:35 <Mikaela> I think that the Facebook group is little inactive and not accepting join requests (or at least mine has been pending for months).
18:35 <amani_glugcal> +1
18:36 <belkinsa> #action belkinsa amani_glugcal Send out an announcement about Harvest bug test to places to attract people (include suggest dates and what it is)

18:37 * pleia2 away again

18:37 <belkinsa> I should also do this for the Questionnaire also.
18:38 <belkinsa> i = we
18:41 <belkinsa> Are we set on this item?
18:41 <amani_glugcal> ok
18:41 <belkinsa> Moving on.
18:41 <belkinsa> #subtopic Resource List
18:41 <belkinsa> I think Pendulum is not here to talk about it as it's her item.
18:42 <amani_glugcal> what is she supposed to do?
18:43 <belkinsa> Compiling list of resources on projects looking for women and resources for projects looking for women
18:44 <belkinsa> But Pendulum added this later via IRC (a few days ago): There will be two lists. The the primary list that's resources for Ubuntu teams/projects looking to get more women involved in them is going to extend outside of Ubuntu. The secondary list was going to be for women looking for Ubuntu teams/projects that specifically want to attract more women.
18:44 <belkinsa> I pulled that from here since I'm writting this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d2yWQk85Y4F0-zHZGNUre4eSMKk9Q6KyC5hYNsmupCc/edit
18:45 <belkinsa> But = and
18:45 <amani_glugcal> :)
18:46 <belkinsa> By the way, as a side note, that article to FMC hasn't be submitted yet to them. Anyone is welcome to help me finalize it.
18:47 <belkinsa> Are we set?
18:48 <amani_glugcal> We have goals and possible goals
18:48 <belkinsa> For the project?
18:48 <belkinsa> The main project of Ubuntu Women is what I mean
18:49 <amani_glugcal> the way we write them ... goals are quite general
18:49 <amani_glugcal> so it is ok
18:50 <belkinsa> Is this for the list or the article?
18:51 <amani_glugcal> article
18:51 <belkinsa> Ah.
18:51 <belkinsa> #topic FMC Article
18:51 <amani_glugcal> FCM

18:51 <meetingology> Removing item from minutes: TOPIC
18:52 <belkinsa> #topic FCM Article
18:54 <amani_glugcal> It will help if it is more detailed
18:54 <belkinsa> Yeah, I'm working on that but I think I hit a writer's block or something.
18:55 <amani_glugcal> I may be able to help you
18:56 <belkinsa> Alright, but after the meeting as in I don't want to make it too long
18:56 <belkinsa> Or you can fill in places where it needs work as we speak.
18:59 <belkinsa> In that mind, let's switch back topics.
18:59 <belkinsa> #topic Blueprint for Vivid cycle: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu-women.org/+spec/community-1411-ubuntuwomen
18:59 <belkinsa> #subtopic Other Items
18:59 <belkinsa> amani_glugcal, I know that you have an item on the blueprint. Any process on it?
19:00 <amani_glugcal> I will finish it when I find time
19:00 <belkinsa> Alright. And I asked popey if he done his.
19:01 <belkinsa> As for the postponed ones, I think we can wait a cycle to kick start them up again.
19:02 <belkinsa> From #ubuntu-community-team:[13:55] <belkinsa> popey, did you e-mail UW Mailing-list on how to get invoulved in Ubuntu Phone Project?
19:02 <belkinsa> [14:01] <popey> not yet.
19:02 <belkinsa> [14:01] <popey> thanks for the reminder
19:02 <belkinsa> [14:02] <belkinsa> Okay.
19:04 <belkinsa> Okay, since I don't to go too long, we will be moving on
19:04 <belkinsa> #topic Any Other Business (AOB)
19:05 <belkinsa> I don't have any that is on top of my mind.
19:05 <amani_glugcal> I think we should do joint projects with other
19:05 <amani_glugcal> women+code projects
19:06 <amani_glugcal> some of them are for
19:06 <belkinsa> Yes, and I think we can do that with what we have for this cycle, at least the Questionnaire and the Harvest.
19:06 <amani_glugcal> teaching code
19:06 * belkinsa nods
19:07 <belkinsa> Maybe when we are ready to do the coding for Harvest, we can do classroom session for Python/Dyrgo.
19:08 <belkinsa> Django*
19:09 <amani_glugcal> I am helping in a project girls for it ...most are web related
19:09 <belkinsa> Cool.
19:09 <amani_glugcal> am basically advising the organizers
19:10 <amani_glugcal> if we have a clear set of projects
19:11 <amani_glugcal> + mentors then something can be done
19:12 <belkinsa> Maybe that can be translated into Ubuntu Women and starting with Harvest, we could "mentor" people to learn how to code.
19:12 <belkinsa> We also have Linux Padawan: http://wiki.linuxpadawan.net/AboutU
19:13 <belkinsa> http://wiki.linuxpadawan.net/AboutUs *
19:14 <amani_glugcal> nice but it is GNU/Linux
19:15 <belkinsa> I get you point, we just need a programming/coding mentoring program, right?
19:15 <amani_glugcal> yes
19:15 <amani_glugcal> that integrates well with project goals
19:16 <belkinsa> Let's do it then.
19:17 <belkinsa> You think OpenHatch is what we need to help us with the mentoring?
19:19 <amani_glugcal> something like that but we are focusing on women and ubuntu
19:19 <belkinsa> Right, right.
19:19 <belkinsa> I think we should brainstorm this on the ML.
19:19 <amani_glugcal> ok
19:20 <belkinsa> #action amani_glugcal belkinsa start brainstorming for a mentoring program for coding
19:20 * meetingology amani_glugcal belkinsa start brainstorming for a mentoring program for coding
19:20 <Mikaela> which language(s)?
19:20 <belkinsa> Any.
19:21 <amani_glugcal> incl css, design etc
19:25 <belkinsa> Do we have anything else to talk about?
19:27 <belkinsa> If not, thank all for making it to the meeting and we will continue the discussion on the ML.
19:27 <belkinsa> #endmeeting
